MMTech ("we", "us", "our") built ScoreHub as a free mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. By using ScoreHub, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect

- To authenticate your identity via phone number OTP
- To save and sync your cricket match data across sessions
- To send relevant push notifications (you can disable these in your device settings)
- To detect and fix crashes and technical issues
- To understand overall app usage patterns and improve the user experience
3. Third-Party Services
ScoreHub uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase Authentication — phone number sign-in
- Google Cloud Firestore — storing match, team, and profile data
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reporting (release builds only)
- Firebase Analytics — anonymized usage analytics (release builds only)
- Firebase Remote Config — app configuration and update prompts
These services are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in a secure Google-managed data center. We use Firebase security rules to ensure only authenticated users can access their own data. Sensitive information (such as your phone number) is managed by Firebase Authentication and is never stored in plain text by us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app (Profile → Delete Account), all your personal data and associated match records are permanently deleted from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — view your profile data within the app at any time
- Correction — edit your profile name and details in the app
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Delete Account
- Opt-out of notifications — disable push notifications in your device settings
7. Children's Privacy
ScoreHub is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
